
I am taking a nutrition class online and our assignment for the last two weeks has been to take three days and try to get our recommended amount of fiber. My recommended amount is 25 g. We previously had to record our intake for three days and my fiber was at 16 grams. I decided I needed to step it up a notch. I have eaten a lot of raisin bran in the last couple days (7 grams for a cup!) and this was my lunch for today. It wasn't an exceptionally high amount of fiber but it made me feel like I was eating better. Chicken alfredo with cooked broccoli and carrots. It was delicious! Oh and I would also like it noted that since I've been back from Russia (where I lost a lot of weight but am unsure of the amount) I have lost 9 pounds! It's great to know that this nutrition class is actually helping me out!
