One of my most favorite things in this world is a day with dry ground. I love the rain and the sound it makes but sometimes it gets old to have wet clothes and wear shoes that won't get my feet wet. We've had the most glorious weather this last week or so full of sunshine and no clouds. It's been wonderful and has resulted in dry ground and me wearing sandals all over the place. I know that being obsessed with the ground is odd but it really does matter to me. Just ask any of the teachers from ILP; I used to get hostile about the wet and muddy ground in Russia!
