On the first day of school, my humanities teacher announced that we were going to be having a trip to Utah on Tuesday, May 3rd. Wow! Gotta love college classes and their crazy field trips to different states! Fast-forward to May 3rd and we drove a huge bus of a wopping 21 people down to Utah and spent the day going to the Carl Bloch exhibit, the Church History Museum, and the Cathedral of the Madalaine. It was so much fun and great to get out and see really art instead of just talking about it in class. I wasn't allowed to take pictures in the Bloch exhibit otherwise one of them would be my picture of the day but this painting I thought was also beautiful from the Church History Museum. This picture doesn't do it justice but it was a magnificent picture that radiated off the wall of the angels coming down and everyone rejoicing that Christ had come to the Americas.
