Friends are hard to come by especially in an assisted living home and on Tuesday I came to work to hear that my really good friend, Verna, had very unexpectedly passed away. Verna was my very dear friend and favorite resident. She was fully aware (unlike many other residents) so it was great to joke around with her. She was so happy and just loved everything. I am heartbroken that she is gone although I know that she is now able to run around and be with her husband. This picture is of her table where we spent a lot of time playing her computer games. She would be playing them and when I came in would invite me to help. We had a lot of good times here. Verna my dear, you will be greatly missed!!
